Previous SAG Conferences
  
After being rescheduled from April due to the volcanic ash , the Basel conference took place in early June. There was a good attendance, and a range of interesting speakers. In addition, there was a visit to the Basel State Archive.
Topics presented included :
- ISO 15489 Compliant Classification Systems and their relevance to GxP (workshop)
- Digital Archiving of research data - Strategies and Vision
- Electronic Archiving in a GxP regulated environment
- Corporate Records Management @ Roche
- Records Management in Research
- Closing an Archive
- ITA AVS Monheim 1.0 for UCB Central Archives Monheim

The Spring conference in 2009 was a successful event, featuring a range of interesting speakers. The topics covered included:
- Risk Based inspections and current regulatory issues (presented by Steve Monk of the MHRA)
- Digital pen and paper technology
- Preserving electronic records
- Designing an archive for a small company
- Scanning - Easy or Complex?
- Mould - the uninvited guest
In addition, there was an elightening trip to the Wellcome Trust Foundation, and opportunities to network with other members.
Presentation materials are available in the Members area. The Bristol conference was a big success, with over 50 delegates attending the workshops and conferences. The presentations included:
- The TMF in an Electronic Age
- Overview of recent GLP and GCP Guidance
- Effective Records Management for Due Digilence and Discovery
- Data Protection Implications for the Pharma industry
In addition, the group AGM took place, as well as members session, conference dinner and other networking opportunties. Thanks to all the speakers, organisers and attendees who helped to make it a success.
